IntelLEO presentation at ICELW Conference in New York City

By: Barbara Kieslinger, ZSI

Barbara Kieslinger was representing the IntelLEO project at the ICELW 2009 (International Conference on e-Learning at the Workplace) Conference from 10th to 12th of June in New York City.

Her contribution on “Participatory Design Methods for Learning and Knowledge Sharing Activities in Networked Organisations” introduced the audience to the IntelLEO participatory design approach. The presentation was well attended and the audience was especially interested in the externalisation of knowledge and how this could work in cross-organisational settings.

Overall the conference was attended by 140 experts from 25 countries and offered a broad range of contributions, from research oriented papers that remained on a conceptual and experimental level to very practically oriented talks from e-Learning consultants.

The Austrian newspaper “die Presse” recently published an article covering the conference and especially the Austrian participation in the event. The article, which is German, can be downloaded here: DiePresse_ICELW
